Question about testing XL185s pickup coil » I am trying to diagnose why I am not getting a spark on my 1981 XL185s engine. I can hook my test light to the R/B wire coming from the alternator and see it light up when I start kicking the bike. So I presume that the stator is working. I cannot however, get any light from the pickup coil wires… Thumpertalk.com
